A MoU has been signed with National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur on 30.06.2011, in order to carry out a collaborative research work in the area of Polymers with Prof. A.S.Singha, Head Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur.

A MoU was signed with Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM) Kolkata by MEC on 19.05.2011.
This MoU was signed to facilitate the Mutual Research Collaboration between the two Institutes in the area of Biomedical Applications with Dr. S.N. Bandyopadhyay, Prof. & Head, Department of Pharm. Managemnet, EIILM, Kolkata. A novel attempt to Develop cost effective and efficient dental implant materials is to be taken up as a collaborative project.

TCS - ION has entered into infrastructural tie-up with Mahendra Institutions.
TCS ion has accredited the infrastructure of Mahendra Institutions as one of the best and has successfully conducted national level online exams for public sector and private sector organization of repute. Many students have attended these exams at Mahendra Institutions till date. Parents and students both have commended the infrastructure and facilities provided to them by Mahendra Institutions.

MOU was signed with ARCHES, Italy on 18th June 2011, to carry out collaborative research projects and students exchange program. The organisations will study common opportunities to jointly expand their research capabilities in the field of renewable energies and biomedicine. MEC will provide its technical expertise and well-equipped facilities. On its part, ARCHES will avail its expertise on European policies for research and innovation to evaluate funding opportunities by the European Commission. The MEC and ARCHES will also cooperate in the field of nanotechnology, with a special focus on crystal growth, smart materials and thin films.

Harita Tech Serv has Signed MOU with Mahendra, for set up Mahendra -Harita Research Center for New Product Development and Manufacturing Technologies. The main objective is to create a Pool of Strong Industry Ready Talent from the Students undergoing Engineering. Bridge the GAP BETWEEN INDUSTRY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS TAUGHT IN ACADEMIC COURSE. Groom Engineers who are highly conversant with Design processes involving need-finding, ethnographic field work, rapid prototyping and testing. So far more than 40 students were placed in reputed companies like VOLVO, Atlas Copco, SCL, Honey well, TVS motors, based on this Tie-up

Wipro Mission 10X Technology Learning Centre (MTLC) has Signed MOU with Mahendra, MTLC-UTLP (Unified Technology Learning Platform) is an ardent facilitator for aiding engineers gain hand-on, learn and understand complex and advance technologies simply. Besides, MTLC-UTLP also concentrates on making students and freshmen industry ready as it gives them the experience of working in real time. Eventually, UTLP embraces modern technologies to bridge the gap between academia and industry. It increases individual learning towards subjects and supports and motivates students towards building and integrating concepts keeping in mind organizational practices. It also promotes and expedites Entrepreneurship and Research within and beyond the country. Main applications are real-time projects involving Industrial Automation, Automotive Electronics, Medical Electronics/Bio-medical domain and Mobile & Multimedia.

Larsen & Turbo (L&T) Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mahendra Engineering College, Mallasamudram, to introduce an add-on course on “Formwork Engineering” for the benefits of Civil Engineering students. Shri.N.Dharmarajan, Vice-President and Head of Human Resources (Buildings and Factories), who signed the MoU on behalf of L&T Construction that there was a huge dearth of manpower in the field of formwork engineering, which is an emerging trend in the construction industry in India.
Formwork is the backbone of construction activity. In any project, formwork – which constitutes 10% of the cost of the RCC structure but involves 60% of the time – decides the duration, quality and safety of the project. However, the subject does not get its due in the curriculums of Civil Engineering courses. The construction giant, L&T designed a 140-hour curriculum for the final year students that Mahendra was happy to accept. This would be a huge value addition to the students, preparing them for industry needs.

The EMC Academic Alliance program offers unique ‘open’ curriculum-based education on technology topic such as cloud computing, big data analytics, information storage and management, and backup recovery systems and architecture. This focus on technology concepts and principles applicable to any vendor environment, enabling students to develop highly marketable knowledge and skills required in today’s evolving IT industry.

ICT Academy is an initiative of the Government of India in collaboration with the state Governments and Industries. ICTACT is a not-for-profit society, the first of its kind pioneer venture under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model that endeavours to train the higher education teachers and students thereby exercises on developing the next generation teachers and industry ready students.

As part of the MoU, HP will also train students in networking through its ProCurve Networking University. The company will train students in three levels, who at the end of the course will get a HP-certified network certificate.

Oracle Work Development Program (WDP) has started advanced value added training program in Oracle Work Development Program for the benefits of the students. The objective of this program is to enable students to have Oracle authorized training at low cost. WDP exposes the students to Oracle University courseware and CD’s during the training program, this also helps the students to get awarded with certificates which are clear differentiators from their peers, when looking for jobs.
These training which are conducted under WDP, leads the students to oracle certification. “These certificates (OCP) are treated as standards in the industry and help the students to get better placements in future”

MOU was signed between Infosys Technologies Limited and Mahendra Engineering College on 27.2.2006 for the purpose of enriching the Technical Education process and to jointly work for enhancing the quality of education imparted to students of all the engineering disciplines in the field of Information Technology. 1049 students’ of various departments Certified by Infosys campus connect Soft skills.
To improve the soft-skill talents such as communication, behavior, in the students the department has organized Soft-skill training program through INFOSYS CAMPUS CONNENT. All the final year students and pre-final students of the college have participated in the program. The trainers from Infosys trained various department students to improve their soft skills and technical skills.

Danfoss India serves a wide range of industries that rely on Danfoss products for their component and sub-system needs-state-of-art refrigeration, air conditioning components and controls, VLT® Drives and a range of heating valves, etc. Danfoss Learning centre for Mahendra Engineering Colleges was inaugurated at Mahendhirapuri campus on 5th August, 2014. Mr. Michael Quitzau, Senior, Director, Research and Development, Danfoss has inaugurated the E learning centre in a colorful function. The centre has been opened for the students’ who are looking for proof of professional achievement and want to increase their opportunities for advancement while increasing their skill set. Centre creates an opportunity to the students of our group of Institutions to take up the E- learning courses offered by Danfoss learning.
